Wardell joins Rogue
Matthew "Wardell" Bowman has joined Rogue, finalizing the team's roster for the upcoming season.
Last month, Rogue has announced the signing of the core of Enigma6, who earned ESL Pro League promotion by beating Rush in last season's stage. After adding Daniel "vice" Kim, Collin "wrath" McSweegan and Josh "shinobi" Abastado, Rogue have also acquired the services of the North American veteran Spencer "Hiko" Martin and added Garett "Grt" Bambrough as a coach.
In the meantime, Rogue were looking to finalize their roster with an AWPer and were reportedly looking to sign Tsvetelin "CeRq" Dimitrov, but the Bulgarian is seemingly set to join NRG.
Now, Rogue have revealed that they completed their roster with Matthew "WARDELL" Yu, the former Bee's Money Crew and Ghost player.
The 19-year-old's experience of high-level CS has been limited, though, with exposure to the top-level limited to a single season of ECS. That is soon to change, as a whole season of ESL Pro League awaits WARDELL and his new team.
However, Rogue won't be able to use their full roster from the start of Pro League as wrath is currently underage. Until September 21st, when wrath turns 16, the team will be using Shawn "witmer" Taylor, a former teammate of shinobi and co.
Rogue are now:
Josh "shinobi" Abastado
Daniel "vice" Kim
Collin "wrath" McSweegan
Spencer "Hiko" Martin
Matthew "WARDELL" YuGarett "Grt" Bambrough (coach)
Shawn "witmer" Taylor (stand-in)
