nexa looking for new opportunities
Nemanja "nexa" Isaković has confirmed his exit from Renegades and announced that he is looking for new opportunities.
Just four months after he joined the Australian side—based in North America—, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković has been relieved of his duties by Renegades.
The news comes amidst a busy transfer period, with Renegades using the opportunity to acquire David "Jayzwalkingz" Kempner from fnatic Academy, and the 20-year-old Serbian being the one to make way on the squad.
nexa didn't have an easy time on the roster, however, as the youngster made a jump across the Atlantic to join his first professional team and instantly took over the in-game leader role—which he admitted was a "big and hard step" in his career.
The in-game leader duties got transferred to Noah "Nifty" Francis before the Asia Minor (that Renegades ended up winning), which seemed to help nexa adapt and improve, but after finishing the PGL Major Main Qualifier with a 1-3 record and placing 3-4th at DreamHack Open Atlanta, the team ended up making a change.
With his stint with Renegades now behind him, nexa has returned to Europe and is looking for new opportunities, giving the following statement to HLTV.org:
"I'm grateful for the opportunity I was given as a part of Renegades and I feel dissapointed in myself that it didn't work out, the boys and the Aussie fans will always have a special place in my heart."
"As for me, I'm getting back out there and seeking other offers. Interested parties can contact me at nexacs@gmail.com."
I am no longer a part of @Renegades roster and I'm currently looking for other opportunities. Retweets appreciated.
