Cloud9 defeat fnatic in London

Group B kicked off with Timothy "⁠autimatic⁠" Ta pulling off a massive clutch as he won a 1v4 situation with the bomb planted to put his team in the lead. Cloud9 continued picking up rounds, with the scoreline blooming to a 5-0 advantage for the North Americans as fnatic could not keep up with the Terrorists' pace.

fnatic then finally got a round on the board, but they were unable to follow it up. autimatic went huge once again, picking up two entry frags, but this time around the hero was Jordan "⁠n0thing⁠" Gilbert, who jumped out of the upper ramp to kill the defuser in the nick of time with a Glock.

A massive blunder from Mike "⁠shroud⁠" Grzesiek, who lost the bomb after going through a smoke all alone, cost Cloud9 the next round, but the North Americans rallied back right after and left fnatic with no money in the bank.

With the scoreline 8-2 in favour of Cloud9, Dennis "⁠dennis⁠" Edman picked up four kills to give his team some much-needed breathing room. That round ended up setting them up for a great run as they cut the deficit to 8-6 before Cloud9 secured the final round of the half.

fnatic pulled one back by taking the pistol round as Terrorists, but then they lost the following anti-eco. Jake "⁠Stewie2K⁠" Yip sensationally clutched a 1v2 in the next round, propelling Cloud9 into a commanding 13-7 lead.

Despite calling a timeout, fnatic were unable to improve their offence as they only took one round off of Cloud9 before the North Americans comfortably ran out 16-8 victors.
