SK move past G2 in London

After defeating G2 16-7 on Cache, SK have advanced to the winners' match of Group A, where they'll meet FaZe.

After FaZe overpowered OpTic in the opening match in London, day one of ECS Season 3 Finals continued with Group A's second battle between SK and G2 on Cache, where the Brazilians started on the Counter-Terrorist side.

Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo's squad got off to a fantastic start, winning the pistol round and the first gunround with relative ease before Fernando "fer" Alvarenga saved the following with a 1v1 clutch when G2 only bought a few Deagles.

SK to take on FaZe for first place in the Group of Death

After Epitacio "TACO" de Melo picked up a quad-kill from the boost on A site, SK continued their dominant run until it was 9-0, at which point G2 got on the board with a quick A split. However, SK capitalized on their economic advantage and proceeded to end the half with three more rounds going their way for a 12-3 lead.

G2 saved their chances in the match with an aggressive pistol tactic to lower the massive deficit to six rounds, but it was the Brazilian side who grabbed the first gunrounds and soon got away with the win at 16-7.

I'm sorry, you're so confident on your country player that you even consider him to be an insult? Shieeet.... I just pointed you have the same flag as a player of FaZe, so your argument falls apart. An insult would be saying that you have no scene in Norway.

Being biased had nothing to do with our conversation. Maybe you should find out what country you are from before entering a simple discussion.

Maybe you guys should diversify those titles, it's clear that you guys always recycle them each tournament. Maybe include notable performances in titles? An example I could give would be: "TACO takes down G2 in London."

In 99% cases, you can't really highlight one player in that way, and especially not in one-sided matches like this, where everyone played well.

no disrespect for SK but on this high level bo1. I don't like it. Imo they could play like 10 times Cache in a row and anything would be possible. 5:0 into 5:5 or the other way around. I don't like it.

It's not disrespect, I agree with you, don't like as well but when that are the rules you need to manage and make the minimum mistakes and then you can to win that map. Not best way of course but neither a excuse to a loss
2017-06-23 16:18

I simply don't like it because bo1 makes it possible for weaker teams to get through groupstage while the best teams kick each other out. it's like the golden goal rule that existed a while ago in football. one team could dominate and creat alot of high quality chances to score and then one lucky punch sets the game to an end and no chance to reply. it's bs. and it's not fair.
