Kings unveil new CS:GO roster
Kings Gaming Club have formed a new Australian squad, which includes notable players from the scene.
Following the news of ex-Immunity’s move, another brand new Australian organisation enters the pack, with Kings Gaming Club securing the services of former Winterfox player Chris "emagine" Rowlands, two ex-Tainted Minds members, Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas and Travis "wizard" Richardson, completed by the additions of Jordan "Hatz" Bajic and Simon "Sico" Williams from AVANT GARDE before their disbandment last month.
Launched this month by their CEO and Founder, Annabelle “Haiimbelle” Harper, the new organisation “aims to be one of the best teams in Australia, with bootcamps before LANs, coaching and the right support to make their dreams possible.”
In a statement given to HLTV.org by the team's captain, Travis “wizard” Richardson:
"I’m excited to be joining forces with Kings Gaming Club and essentially building the brand from the ground up. We, the players share the same goals and aspirations and look forward to showcasing the prowess of this roster and representing the country overseas."
Kings have been invited to the fourth edition of the ESL Australia & NZ Championship, due to the new roster fulfilling the three-man core requirement after winning Season 3 Finals in May (with wizard attending as a stand-in). The team has expressed "they want to play in ZEN League [Season 2]", which consists of a ~$37,000 prize pool and the opportunity to compete against Asian teams on home turf.
Kings are now:
Travis "wizard" Richardson
Chris "emagine" Rowlands
Jay "Liazz" Tregillgas
Jordan "Hatz" Bajic
Simon "Sico" Williams
