coldzera gets DH Summer MVP award
Marcelo "coldzera" David is our Most Valuable Player (MVP) of DreamHack Open Summer for his role in SK Gaming's triumphant campaign.
The 22-year-old bested teammates Fernando "fer" Alvarenga and Gabriel "FalleN" Toledo, and fnatic trio of Dennis "dennis" Edman, Jesper "JW" Wecksell and Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer for the honour.
Marcelo "coldzera" David had just two below-average Ratings in the ten games that he played in Jönköping. He excelled on Cobblestone against CLG (1.33 Rating), and in both map wins in the final against fnatic, which propelled him to top the series' scoreboard with a 1.24 Rating.
He was also SK's highest-rated player of the tournament at 1.19, ranking behind only CLG's Ricardo "Rickeh" Mulholland (1.25), Gambit's Rustem "mou" Telepov (1.23) and MOUZ' Tomáš "oskar" Šťastný (1.22).
This is coldzera's sixth MVP award of his career, the third since the start of the year after he also scooped the honour at IEM Sydney and cs_summit.
