Signature, 7642 through to Asia Minor
Thai duo Signature Gaming and 7642 have secured spots at the Asia Minor Championship after reaching the semi-finals of the India and SEA qualifier.
Hosted by SoStronk, the qualifier featured 128 teams from India and Southeast Asia, who competed in a single-elimination bracket for the chance to attend the upcoming Minor.
Signature secured a spot in the final after a sensational run that culminated with 2-0 victories over BOOT-d[S] and Imperium in the best-of-three stages of the tournament.
qqGOD's 7642 through to the Minor
From the other half of the bracket came 7642, also hailing from Thailand. Phoomphat "qqGOD" Phodjanat's team defeated Malaysian side JYP and Cong "crazyguy" Anh Ngo's Recca in the final two rounds by 2-0 scorelines to ensure themselves of a top-two finish.
The Thai duo will join previously qualified teams TheMongolz and Spotnet, and four other sides at the Asia Minor, which will be held in China from June 1-4. The top two teams from this $50,000 competition will advance to the offline qualifier for the PGL Krakow Major.
