Imperial sign MK

After a month of searching for an organization, Mortal Kombat have found a new home in Imperial, who announced the signing on their website.

At the beginning of April, MK announced their return with a new roster, featuring four members of the original lineup and HEADSHOTBG's Hristian "shEMETA" Spasov.

Motivated by ESL allowing VAC-banned players to participate in their tournaments after a two-year ban, they began searching for a new home, which they've now found in Imperial.

MK found a new home in Imperial

The Bulgarians have replaced Imperial's former British-Irish roster around Phil "Whindanski" Nicholas, who have found themselves without backing after the organization decided against keeping two squads.

"We are really happy that we have chosen Imperial. We had other options as well, but Imperial offered us exactly what we are looking for and we believe that we can achieve a lot under their name." spyleader told HLTV.org.

"As v1c7oR has said in a previous statement, our main goals are to qualify for EPL and all ESL IEM events, but we are taking every tournament very seriously and we are always playing to win them. Hopefully, in the next six months we will be back in the top 15 ranking. I want to thank Oli Adams and Imperial for believing in us, as well as all the sponsors and the fans who are supporting me and my team."

Imperial now have the following five:

Bulgaria Emiliyan "spyleadeR" Dimitrov
Bulgaria Kamen "bubble" Kostadinov
Bulgaria Simeon "dream3r" Ganev
Bulgaria Viktor "v1c7oR" Dyankov
Bulgaria Hristian "shEMETA" Spasov

Imperial > Outlaws, even tho they got better with niki1 & nkay, Imperial guys have a fuckton of LAN experience and they are back togeter with a new IGL since 2 weeks, look at G2 at first they were kinda bad. This bulgarian squad was always a probleme for everybody in CS scene they were really strong, TOP 15 most of the time, is Outlaws top15 ?
2017-04-28 17:14
Outlaws are nowhere near MK. MK were top 15-17 all the time and they got in top 10 once too. MK are way better aimers and with greater tactics just the one that isn't good is the spyleader's force buy.. :D

Outlaws didnt changed IGL unlike MK, the core is playing together since 6 month, while in MK vic & bubble were in Rogue, dream3r in MK, spyleadeR in Bpro. Get fucking real, its not becaus ethey beat them one time online just after their recreation that they are better. Outlaws is a very good team, MK ( Imperials ) now with CeRq could be way better.

Finaly, seriously. Is this a record for a team not to be signed by any orgs? Mortal Kombat has existed for so long, even before the breakup.

Dream3r was VAC banned from matchmaking and from what he said on a video defending himself it was his "friend". He has never been caught cheating in a tournament unlike KQLY.
2017-04-29 07:06

KQLY was NEVER caught cheating in a tournament. He got VACed exactly like dream3r did and no one knows if he cheated offline, online, matchmaking or just playing with bots. The 2 VAC bans were under the exact same circumstances. His excuse that it was his "friend" is ridiculous.

Dream3r's excuse was that his "friend" was using blatant spinbot in matchmaking to boost his other friends because dream3r's account was global.

And how is that excuse valid though? "my friend did it, not me" is the worst excuse. Its like "my dog ate my homework". Do you believe what anyone says?

I personally don't care and there's a lot of people who support him and others who don't. Gplay's manager called BS on the "my friend did it" excuse (there's some beef between the team and gplay's manager) but the entire team still thinks they have enough evidence to support him and that Valve are just lazy and don't wanna look into it.
