ESL Masters Spain teams set
ESL Spain, who recently teamed up with Movistar—a branch of Telefonica—, one of the biggest telecommunications companies in the world, announced its new CS:GO League at the company’s flagship store in Madrid. The league will have a 22,100€ prize pool as well as money set aside to help the teams during the LAN finals.
The first teams to go through in the first of several qualifiers were Nevermind, who upset several other more experienced teams for a spot in the competition, the favorites, KPI, and Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent's EU4IA.
The second qualifier saw the ex-x6tence quartet featuring the AWPer Rajohn "EasTor" Linato, now playing as KELOKEE, go through. Finally, the last four teams to qualify in the last two qualifiers were x6tence, Arctic, Baskonia, and AIE.

The prize pool for the league will be of 22,100€. Of those, 100€ will be paid per win during the regular season while the remainder, over 16,000€, will be up for grabs at the LAN finals. ESL Spain will also have 20,000€ available for teams to pay for transportation, accommodation, and diets.
The first season of ESL Masters will kick off on April 17 and will consist of 14 game days which will take place on Mondays and Tuesdays. Each team will play each other twice, with the six best teams from the league qualifying to the LAN finals in June.
