iBUYPOWER Spring Invitational 2017 which will offer $16,000 in cash prizes to eight North American teams has been announced.

For the third year in a row, iBUYPOWER is back with the Spring edition of their online series. From April 1-2, eight North American squads will be competing in the organization's first tournament of 2017.

Immortals also won iBUYPOWER Masters back in December

Although Immortals hold the title of iBUYPOWER Invitational after winning the latest edition, it's likely that the Brazilians won't participate as they will be in Kiev two days after the tournament. The same goes for CLG, who recently qualified for StarSeries Season 3 Finals after defeating Renegades.

As for the prize pool distribution and invited teams, the organization hasn't revealed any information.
