chrille departs Epsilon

Epsilon and their coach Christian "chrille" Lindberg have parted ways, the organization announced on their website.

Christian "chrille" Lindberg had been coaching the team since the days they were called Cringe Gods, who emerged for the first time at the PGL Minor ahead of MLG Columbus before their adjusted lineup got signed by Epsilon in March.

chrille is looking for new opportunities

After over a year with the Swedish squad who went through numerous changes in that time - including the loss of Joakim "disco doplan" Gidetun to fnatic and William "draken" Sundin to NiP -, chrille and Epsilon parted ways, as the team "wanted a fresh vision of tactics":

"Although the CSGO team wanted a fresh vision of tactics for themselves, this was an extremely difficult decision. Christian is a hardworking and genuine person, pumped up behind his team all the way. He brought a team from the unknown status, to one of the top teams in the world. This alone is not a small achievement. I’m sure that one day our paths will meet again!" Epsilon's CEO, Greg Champagne, said in a statement.

The coach had this to say to HLTV.org about his departure:

"We have gone from nothing to in one year to be a consistently top 25 team in the world, there is something unique in CSGO to be proud of. It requires an enormous amount of time and commitment to consistently deliver results. After being a map from a Major qualifier and so close to a semi-final in WESG, the team felt that a change was needed. We took an extremely hard decision to separate to give the team and myself new motivation and opportunities.

I've been a part of the Epsi family over a year and it's a time I will always remember. I had the privilege to coach Sweden's top talents and players with tremendous experience from the past. I wish my old players and the new additions of Epsilon good luck and I really hope you reach your dreams.

A new chapter begins and I hope to have everything sorted with a new team as soon as possible.

Thanks for all the support in Epsilon, fans and even to you players from other teams I've met, see you guys again soon!"

Devilwalk didn't really do much for the team, he was more like a cheerleader

as a coach..he probably did a good job,but the problem is epsilon is shitty af now(not shitty, but under their standards) is because there were too many recent roster changes and not enough time to adapt, they lost disco to fnatic, couple of months later they lose draken...
