IEM Katowice 2017 schedule out

The schedule for the $250,000 tournament taking place from March 1-5 has been revealed.

Twelve teams will gather in Katowice, Poland at the beginning of March for IEM Katowice. Virtus.pro, Astralis, SK and North are some of the attending teams.

Wednesday and Thursday will host the round-robin group stage matches while the remaining three days will be reserved for the playoffs. The first-placed team from both groups will advance to the semi-finals while the second and third-placed teams from different groups will play a best-of-three in order to advance to the semis.

VP will be in Group B

During the group stage, there will be at least two matches at any time. The action will kick off with OpTic vs. Astralis and the Swedish derby between Ninjas in Pyjamas and fnatic.

BO3 finals AGAIN and at such a shit time. The game could finish by midnight at which rate you may have viewers leaving. Why not have the grand finals at 6-6:30 so the game could finish at 9:9-30? Would be so much better for EU and maybe NA viewers as well. edit: so many matches at the same time as well. Just start the matches 3 hours earlier and you could get through all the matches separately for 1 group in 1 day on the same stream instead of having to rush through the matches by streaming them 3 at a time. im going at 22:00pm but still im sleeping around 4h. coz i have problem with sleeping. And people need to sleep at least 8h per day. Brain need at least that amout to work well. Btw. dont you remembre last year when everyone complained that there was no crowd/cheering on finals? guess why coz it was if i remebre at the same time and ofc without VP in this year noone said VP gonna play at finals even if they will i still think only people who can skip school or have free day in work and those who have room in hotels. Everything because of money. ELEAGUE was in Atlanta because ELEAGUE paid Volvo for the event. Valve don't care about CS:GO events, so for them it could be even in the middle of wilderness. Events in NA sucks, but Europe don't have such money to pay Volvo for the major.
