ex-paiN add tifa
The former paiN team have announced that they have completed their lineup with the addition of Thiago "tifa" França.
The Brazilian team had been on the lookout for a new player since the end of January, when Guilherme "dukeN" Góes announced that he was stepping down from the roster to take a break from competitive gaming.
At the same time, former KaBuM member Caio "zqkS" Fonseca revealed on Twitter that the team and paiN were going their separate ways after a fourth-month association, during which the squad finished top 16 at ESWC and also competed in North American qualifiers for tournaments like ELEAGUE, ECS and the Americas Minor.
tifa joins ex-paiN
Thiago "tifa" França, who has played for g3x and Big Gods in the past, has already joined up with the rest of the team in the United States as they prepare for the tournaments ahead, including the North American qualifiers for ECS Season 3, which kick off on Saturday.
"Tifa was one of the players we had long thought that could be an asset to the team," team manager Rui "GMS" Gomes told HLTV.org.
"We had some options to choose from, many of which were valid, but we went with tifa as he is a very ambitious and dedicated player who, above all, wants to learn. This is something that was key at this moment.
"We are currently playing in ESEA Open, and our main goal is to secure promotion to the Premier division. We will also play in all qualifiers and tournaments that are announced."
