TeamOne add bit
TeamOne, which was last seen playing internationally at the WESG World Finals in China, and recently won January’s Liga PRO GamersClub finals locally, has successfully acquired the services of Bruno "bit" Lima, thus closing out the team’s roster.
TeamOne, which was founded in 2015 and started to gain momentum in 2016, has acquired the veteran player Bruno "BIT" Fukuda Lima after successfully negotiating a buyout with Merciless.
This isn’t the first time TeamOne tried buying the player out of his contract, as contacts had already been made when Fillipe "bt0" Moreno retired from competition in January, right after the team returned from China where they finished in 17-20th place.
bit will join veterans pava and Maluk3 in TeamOne
The Brazilian side has shown it is one of the region’s powerhouses, as it recently won the January edition of the local Liga PRO GamersClub, and will be looking to retain regional dominance with the inclusion of the ex-Merciless and ex-Luminosity player into the team.
"Our organization already tried signing bit before, since the moment bt0 decided to retire, but after unsuccessful negotiations we ended up signing trk.
"In early February, when we all agreed we needed a coach, we decided the best solution would be to move our then player AlaNDieg0R to coach. With this new opening in the roster, we re-opened the negotiations for bit, and reached an agreement to buy the player out of his contract.
"Now, we are excited to have him on board, as we have finally closed our lineup and can now aim to reach higher competitive levels. Our goal now is to dominate the South American scene, help develop the local and regional scenes, and compete in international events that we can qualify for/get invites to"
