Misfits, RNG, coL to DH Las Vegas

The closed North American qualifier for Dreamhack Masters Las Vegas is over as Misfits, Renegades and compLexity managed to qualify for the event. This means that teams like Liquid and Immortals will not be attending the event.

The 16 participants for Dreamhack Masters Las Vegas have now been decided as the closed North American qualifier has come to an end.

The qualifier was played in best-of-three, single-elimination format, and it started off well for the favorites, as they all managed to make it through the first round. In the second round,Immortals suprisingly went out to compLexity after losing 2-1, and compLexity were ready for the semifinals.

Liquid also advanced to the semifinals even though they were playing from Europe, but when they bumped into Renegades, they lost. Liquid did put up a good fight, as two of the maps went into overtime, but in the end, Renegades were too strong.

In the other semifinal, compLexity and the newly formed Misfits faced. This game wasn't even close to be as exciting as the semifinal between Liquid and Renegades, as Misfits secured their spot at Las Vegas without any problems.

There were 3 spots up for grabs, and the last match was between the losers from the semifinals; Liquid and compLexity. compLexity managed to ruin Liquid's dreams about going to Vegas.

With the North American qualifier over, the final 3 teams for the event have been decided. The participants can be found here:
