PENTA Sports have confirmed on Twitter the signing of former ENCE member Miikka "suNny" Kemppi.

The Finnish player had been widely expected to join PENTA on a permanent basis after playing for the team as a stand-in last month, just days after ENCE announced they would rebuild their squad.

Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi becomes PENTA's third confirmed player for the new season, joining German duo Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend and Stefan "⁠stfN⁠" Seier.

PENTA are due to face LDLC on Wednesday in the ESL Pro League relegation stage, in which they will field Mike "⁠mikeS⁠" Tuns, a former member of the team, and mousesports' backup player Tomáš "⁠oskar⁠" Šťastný as stand-ins.

The German team currently have:

Kevin "⁠kRYSTAL⁠" Amend
Stefan "⁠stfN⁠" Seier
Miikka "⁠suNny⁠" Kemppi

HS for sure, but electronic sits comfortably in F3 - that aside, even if he was a free agent he wouldn't even understand the basics of English. should they snatch HS, they need an AWPer, and the viable list of players is as following: -oskar though I believe they need a majority of German players to play in the German leagues (not sure), so most likely it would be just +oskar and +[insert German].
